The paintings featured on this site are samples of my work. I was born
in the Netherlands in 1975 and moved to England in 1989 where I have lived most of my life and did most of my secondary schooling.
Before starting my degree in Design I also spent a few years in Spain where I developed my artistic skills and my own style
while attending an art school in Madrid.Upon arrival in New Zealand in 2002, seeing the beautiful landscapes with the vibrant
and naturally fresh colours, I had a wave of inspiration wash over me which I have portrayed in my paintings.
